Before and After: A visual timeline of growth...

The chickens matured quickly. The first image is of them on the day that they arrived, one day old.
The second image is of them about one month later, then three months later,
and now they have turned into roosters or hens as the case may be.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This "before" image shows how garlic grows while its still in the ground.
When the garlic scape stands erect, you know that it is time to pull the garlic bulbs.
After the garlic is pulled, it must be properly dried and cleaned as pictured in the third image.
Finally, after the garlic has been dried, it can be made into a beautiful garlic braid such as this one.
